Artisic QR designs and memorial objects linked to a digital memorial? How does this work?
At Forever Connected, we use artistic QR codes to create meaningful, modern memorials. These QR codes are embedded into our beautifully designed objects, such as flower wreaths, plates, and tiles, that can be placed on graves, headstones, or columbariums or next to an urn or a picture of your loved one. When scanned with a phone or tablet, these artistic QR codes link to a personalized digital memorial page where family and friends can share and update photos, videos, and memories—helping them honor their loved one in an interactive way. You can easily change the link so that the QR links to another page (for example an existing Family memorial website).
Each artistic QR code is custom-designed, making every memorial unique. Unlike standard QR codes, ours are crafted to blend seamlessly into the design of the memorial object, combining beauty with functionality. Whether used as a bereavement gift or a personal tribute, our memorials are a lasting connection to your loved one that can be updated and shared long after the funeral.
How did the idea for Forever Connected come about?
Forever Connected was born from the need to keep the memories of loved ones alive. After walking through a cemetery and seeing only names and dates on gravestones, we realized there had to be a better way to tell their stories. Our goal is to combine artistry with technology to create meaningful connections with those who have passed.
How It Works
How does the QR code work?
Each product contains a scannable QR code that links to a website of your choice or a digital memorial page you will setup through our easy-to-use web-app (no software needs to be installed). Anyone with a smartphone or tablet can scan the QR code to view the memorial page, which can include photos, videos, and messages.

When setting up my account and creating the memorial page, I see Rainbow Rebels as logo instead of Forever Connected?
Rainbow Rebels is owned by the same shareholder as Forever Connected. Rainbow Rebels creates items with artistic QR codes but on apparel and phone cases. Feel free to discover their beautiful & unique items on the Rainbow Rebels store. Forever Connected uses their platform to manage the QR codes and offer you the flexibility of linking your QR code to other websites as well.
Can I update the memorial page after it’s set up?
Yes, you can update the memorial page at any time by logging into your account. Add more memories, messages, or tributes to keep the story of your loved one alive.
What can I include on the memorial page?
You can upload photos, videos, stories, and personal messages. There is also an option to add links to music or external media to further personalize the tribute.
Can multiple people contribute to the memorial page?
Yes, you can grant access to multiple people to contribute to the memorial page, allowing family members or close friends to share their memories. If you plan to do this, we advise to create an account with an email and a password you are willing to share. Do not use the same password you use for other website.

What products do you offer?
We offer a variety of products, including QR-embedded plaques, flower wreaths, and headstone plates made from high-quality materials like aluminum and dibond. Each product is beautifully designed and weather-resistant.
We would like to buy a flower wreath for our mother's grave and a small tile for our living room. Can we buy two different items that point to the same memorial page?
Yes! Make sure you specify this clearly during the order process by putting a note in the order notification.
When you want to buy a second item at a later stage, and you'd like to have it point to the same page as the first object, this is also possible. We would love to hear from you! Working with customers on specific personalised creations is what we're praised for. Extra-large flower wreath? A design for a headstone in which you want to embed a QR design? Contact us with your request.
We have an idea for a memorial object and will have it made via our funeral service director. But we would like to have you make an artistic QR design for our object.

Is the QR code weather-resistant?

Can the QR code be damaged?
While our QR codes are made from durable materials, accidents can happen. QR codes are designed with error correction features, allowing them to remain scannable even if up to 20-30% of the code is damaged or obscured. This is due to the use of Reed-Solomon error correction, which helps the QR code reader to reconstruct the missing or damaged data. The level of error correction can vary depending on the specific QR code version and settings, but a 20% tolerance is common for most standard QR codes.
How long will the QR code remain active?
The QR code and memorial page are designed to remain active indefinitely. There are no annual fees or expiration dates, and the page will be accessible as long as our service is operational.
Can the QR code link be changed?
Yes, you can change the content or link associated with the QR code at any time. This gives you flexibility in updating the digital memorial as new memories and tributes are added. Or you can link the QR to external websites if at some point, for example, you want to link your object to a family memorial Facebook page.
How to clean the items made from Dibond
You can clean Dibond® with a damp cloth and, if necessary, with all-purpose cleaner. Do not apply too much pressure, this
will prevent damage to the material. Then dry the sheet with a cloth.

Who can access the memorial page?
You have full control over the privacy settings of the memorial page. You can choose to make it public, accessible to anyone who scans the QR code, or private, where access is restricted with a password.

Yes, security is a top priority. All memorial pages are hosted on secure servers, and we use encryption to protect the content and any personal information shared on the site.

Installation, Scannability and Durability
How do I install the QR Memorials?
Our products come with easy-to-follow installation instructions. For headstone plates and plaques, we include weather-resistant adhesives for secure attachment. Flower wreaths and smaller items can be placed directly on the grave. The ceramic tiles come with a PVC display stand, perfect for an outdoor display or at home.
Is the QR code scannable in all conditions?
Yes, the QR code is designed to be easily scannable in various weather and lighting conditions, including direct sunlight. Older phones or tablets might have issues when scanning the objects in bright sunlight. However, for best results, ensure the QR code is clean and unobstructed.
Help! We tried to scan the object but it didn't work, not even from a very short distance.
As the QR codes integrated into our designs are significantly larger than traditional small black-and-white QR codes, they need to be scanned from a greater distance for optimal functionality. For example, our larger flower wreaths should ideally be scanned from a distance of 1.5 to 2 meters (5 to 6.5 feet) to ensure the QR code reads correctly and links to the memorial page smoothly.

What is the cost of setting up a digital memorial page?
The cost of the memorial page is included with the purchase of a Forever Connected product. You get over 250Mbyte of storage space, enough to display dozens of pictures and a few videos. There are no recurring fees.
Are there recurring fees like a monthly fee for the memorial pages?
No. We give you an eternal license to use our platform. No hidden or recurring fees.
What payment options are available?
